Frank Frazetta's Man the Endangered Species Bronze Statue
 | Dark Horse Comics is proud to announce a bronze sculpture inspired by one of Frazetta's most significant paintings, Man the Endangered Species , which originally appeared as cover art to author L. Ron Hubbard's classic novel Battlefield Earth . The piece depicts a savage alien confronting one of the last human heroes, Jonnie Goodboy Tyler and his partner and mate Chrissie. The drama and dynamic tension of this savage moment are "frozen" in time as only Frazetta can do it. The challenge of bringing this painting forward in three dimensions fell to master sculptor Jeffrey Scott, with an assist from his colleagues at Gentle Giant Studios.
