Little Dot Teeny Weeny Mini Maquette - nick & dent
 Little Dot was a little girl obsessed with dots, spots, and round, colorful objects. She first appeared in 1949 as a supporting feature in Sad Sack, and by 1953 she was given her own series, joining Harvey's growing cast of child-oriented comedy characters. The title lasted almost three decades and introduced several other popular headliners (including Little Lotta and Richie Rich) as back page fillers. This Little Dot is designed to be in scale with the rest of our Harvey line, Dot stands at app. 6.5" tall. |

 2006 marks the 100th anniversary of the Kellogg company, and Dark Horse is excited to be a part of the celebration! Vintage Kellogg's Character #3: Smaxey the Seal®
 With 2006 marking the 100th anniversary of Kellogg Company, Dark Horse has been having a great time looking through vintage imagery pulled from the Kellogg's™ archives for product ideas! This month, we are pleased to present Smaxey the Seal™ as the third statue in our Vintage Kellogg's™ Character Series. Dark Horse has won wide acclaim for its successful series of Classic Comic Character statues, inspired by the syroco statues of the 1940s and sculpted by Yoe! Studios. Our Smaxey the Seal™ statue is inspired by images of Smaxey™ from the Kellogg's archives, but also recalls the look of 1940s sculpting and painting, a style Craig Yoe describes as "primitive but charming." |
Vintage Kellogg's Character #7: Crackle!®
 We are pleased to present Crackle! ® this month as the seventh statue in our Vintage Kellogg's ™ Character Series. With eight characters in the series in all, Crackle! ® follows Tony the Tiger ™, Sugar Pops Pete ™, Smaxey the Seal ™, Coco the Monkey ™, Cornelius ™and Snap! ®. Look for the eighth and final syroco in the series next month- Pop! ®. Our Crackle! ® statue was sculpted by Yoe! Studio, in a style that recalls the 1940's sculpting and painting style of "syroco" statues. Each statuette comes packaged in a litho-printed full-color tin box with a vintage-style pinback button and booklet about Crackle! ® and Kellogg's ™. Underdog Ornament
 Continuing our line of collectible ornaments, Dark Horse presents Underdog. Since 1964, when he first burst onto the animation scene, Underdog has been a hero for all. Disguised as a "humble and loveable" Shoeshine Boy, Underdog may not have natural super powers like other super heroes, but he keeps an "Underdog Super Energy Vitamin Pill" inside his special ring at all times, which he takes to ignite his powers.  Charles Schulz's Peanuts has won acclaim as one of the most popular comic strips of all time. Dark Horse Deluxe is joining in the fun by creating a special series of limited-edition statues of vintage Peanuts characters. Inspired by "syroco" sculptures that were popular in the 1930s and 40s, the ten new statuettes from Dark Horse are designed and manufactured in a style consistent with the earlier figures. Last month we offered the first statue in the series, Charlie Brown, and this month we feature the second statue-bossy, crabby and selfish Lucy Van Pelt.
