DHorse Deluxe Stationery Set: Mark Beyer Stationery Set

Mark Beyer's unique and acclaimed artwork has graced covers of Art Spiegelman's legendary Raw Magazine. Beyer has created comics (Pantheon's "Amy & Jordan" hardcover), books, paintings, and dolls. A self-taught artist, Beyer's primitive yet detailed style has captured a faithful following. Intriguing settings, quirky characters, and a bleak but humorous atmosphere. Beyer's work stands out in our world of bright, happy stationery. His style is attractive because it appeals to one's dark sense of humor while emitting a charm and reassurance that at once contradicts and pleases.

Sock Monkey: The Glass Door Knob HC

The Sock Monkey and the other toys in the house marvel at the prismatic spectrum shining on the parlor floor. They notice that the dazzling colors are somehow emanating from the beautiful glass doorknob on the front door. Winter turns to Spring, and the apple tree at the front of the house sprouts its new leaves, casting a warm green shadow on the door. But something happens to the doorknob: it seems to be broken, and the magical light show has come to a disheartening end. As the leaves grow heavier, joy leaves the house, until Mr. Crow comes up with a plan: to repair the doorknob using very scientifical techniques! Meanwhile, outside, notions of celestial events, planetary rhythm, and farmer's almanacs are discussed by two new characters, a bug and a bird, named Rickets and Scurvy.
