$1495.00 Gemini 4 Flown Seed & Print
This unique piece is a limited-edition print titled The
Million Dollar View. The print is a photograph
taken of astronaut Edward H. White, II, during his
historic first U.S. spacewalk performed on mission
Gemini 4. This lithograph was limited to an edition
of 1,500 numbered prints and 100 artist proofs.
Attached to the lithograph is a mustard seed that
was carried into space by astronaut White on
Gemini 4. White carried several mustard seeds with
him during the mission as a symbol of faith. A copy
of a letter received by astronaut White just before
the flight is provided with the lithograph. This letter
was sent by renowned Minister Dr. Norman
Vincent Peale and makes reference to the mustard
seeds by White.
The lithograph is personally signed by Gemini 4
Mission Commander, Jim McDivitt, who was also
the photographer of the historic moment captured
in the print. Also attached to the print is a replica of
the first American flag worn in space by the Gemini
4 crew. (The flag did not fly in space.)
In addition to the copy of the letter from Rev. Peale, this piece comes with a certficate of
authentiticy, which consists of a typed letter from Astronaut White's son, Astronaut Edward
H. White, III.
