3M Scotch 4950 VHB Tape (45 mil / general purpose)
 3M VHB Tape provides the convenience and simplicity of a tape fastener and are ideal for use in many interior and exterior bonding applications. In many situations, they can replace rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners. These VHB tapes are made with acrylic foam which is viscoelastic in nature. This gives the foam energy absorbing and stress relaxing properties which provides these tapes with their unique characteristics. The acrylic chemistry provides outstanding durability performance. The tapes have excellent durability and excellent solvent and moisture resistance. 3M 4950 VHB Tape is typically used on metal, glass and high surface energy plastic substrates. It can be used for attaching stiffeners in air conditioners, office furniture and telecommunications equipment. Also, to bond aluminum skin to steel support of truck, vans, ambulances or to bond architectural signs to frames. Scapa 571 Silicone Splicing Tape
 Scapa 571 Silicone Splicing Tape is a thin polyester film, single-coated on one side with a custom-formulated silicone pressure sensitive adhesive (opposite side of the film utilizes a standard non-silicone coating). The silicone adhesive provides high initial tack and ensures an excellent bond to silicone coated substrates. This shear-resistant product is pink to enable prompt splice identification and has a soft, conformable adhesive that adheres well to irregular surfaces. Scapa 627 Non-Silicone Splicing Tape
 Scapa 627 Non-Silicone Splicing Tape is a polyester film, single coated with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. Used for splicing of non-silicone surfaces and seam sealing (e.g. one common use is to seal seams of Tyvek to help provide a barrier against air coming in through seams of house wrap). Comes with serrated/pinked edges for easy hand tearing. Its aggressive, tacky adhesive aides in splicing to various non-silicone surfaces and its printable PET carrier adds dimensional stability and strength. Tyco 702210 Removable Mounting Tape
 Tyco 702210 Removable Mounting Tape is a double-sided foam tape that stays removable for up to 2 years. Use it to hold lightweight objects such as posters, calendars, children's drawings, small pictures, etc. on a variety of surfaces including tile, glass, metal, plaster, paneling and finished wood. Each 1-inch length strip will hold 1/8 pound of weight. Can hold an object up to 6 pounds in weight when using multiple strips. Be sure mounting surface is free of grease, dust and wax before applying. Tape removes easily from most surfaces leaving no sticky residue. Foam on tape is approximately 1/16'' thick. |

Polyken 824 Shrink Wrap Tape
 Polyken 824 Shrink Wrap Tape is also known as hull preservation tape and is used for taping edges of shrink wrap to a boat's hull. It has a polyethylene film and rubber based adhesive. UV protected for prolonged expose to sunlight. Polyken 824's specially-designed adhesive eliminates residue even after extended periods of exposure. It is also conformable so it adheres to rough surfaces and is also easy to unwind. Covalence Shrink Wrap Tape is used to seam shrink wrap film sheeting together, patch holes in the shrink wrap, secure the wrap, and to hold doors in place. 3M Scotch 908 ATG Gold Tape (Acid Neutral)
 3M Scotch 908 ATG Gold Tape is an unsupported acrylic adhesive transfer film tape (pressure-sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner). It has an acid free/acid neutral (pH 7.0 - 8.5) acrylic adhesive and is photo safe in accordance with both Black and White Photographic Activity Tests and Color Photographic Activity Tests (per ANSI IT9.16). 3M 908 is used for general purpose applications for holding most paper, foil, film, metal, printed surfaces, glass and sealed wood including: matting and framing pictures, artwork and documents, memory and scrap books, general crafts, school projects. 3M 908 ATG Tape, like all ATG tapes, is reverse wound on the roll so it is designed to be used in an ATG dispenser/gun (the 1/4'' width fits in the 3M 714 Applicator/Dispenser and the 1/2'' width fits in either the JVCC ATG1 or 3M 700 Applicator/Dispenser). |

 3M Scotch 924 ATG Tape is a permanent unsupported acrylic adhesive transfer film (pressure-sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner). 3M 924 is a permanent, all-purpose transfer tape that offers excellent adhesion to most paper stocks. Can bond a wide variety of similar and dissimilar materials such as metals, glass, wood, papers, paints, and many plastics. Some application ideas include mounting promotional items and posters, core starting, and mounting picture frame mat boards and dust covers. Has good solvent resistance and excellent UV resistance. 3M 924 ATG Tape, like all ATG tapes, is reverse wound on the roll so it is designed to be used in an ATG dispenser/gun (see the JVCC ATG1 or the 3M 700 Applicator/Dispenser we also sell). The main difference between 3M 908 and 3M 924 ATG tapes is that 908 is pH neutral (acid-neutral). |
JVCC 925DC Double Coated Tape Dispenser
 JVCC 925DC Double Coated Tape Dispenser is a hand-held tape dispenser for double-coated tapes (when adhesive is on both sides of the tape). Applies tape to working surfaces while rewinding the liner on the take-up spool. Heavy formed steel frame for long life. Adjustable tension brakes on tape roll holder and scrap rewind spool insure proper performance with any tape weight. Has a serrated blade attached to the dispenser. This dispenser is not recommended for thick, difficult to cut tapes such as double-coated cloth/carpet tapes. Holds rolls up to 2'' wide with maximum 5-1/2'' diameter on 3'' core. Usage tips for the Double-Sided Tape Dispenser: take the tape's release liner around the rubber roller *before* the knife so it will not get cut. The tape goes over the knife up to the small roller on top, the liner bends around the larger roller, under the knife and back to the wind-up. You also have to adjust tensions on the unwind and wind up until it works correctly since every type of tape requires a different adjustment. |
3M Scotch 928 ATG Tape (Repositionable)
 3M Scotch 928 ATG Tape is a reverse-wound high-tack/low-tack double-coated tissue tape which has one side which is repositionable (like a Post-it® note). One side of 3M 928 has a medium-firm acrylic adhesive which features high initial adhesion to a wide variety of materials and good shear holding power. The other side has a low-tack, repositionable acrylic adhesive. The low-tack adhesive on one side of 3M 928 allows removal from many papers, foils, and films without adhesive residue and will not cause delamination of most paper stocks. In many cases, the tape can be reused numerous times. It will also not bleed into most paper stocks which helps minimize possible discoloration or staining. Flexible materials will adhere better to 928 than will rigid materials (e.g., paper vs. cardboard). The tape has many repositionable, reusable, or reclosable uses such as: reclosable bags or envelopes; core starting and end tabbing of papers, foils, and films; novelty items; removable stickers and labels; point of purchase displays; book inserts; mounting promotional items; removable/changeable advertisements; temporary hold for protective packaging materials, such as foam or cardboard, used during shipment of manufactured goods.  3M Scotch 969 ATG Tape is a permanent unsupported acrylic adhesive transfer film (pressure-sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner). 3M 969 is ideal for bonding materials with glossy coatings where an aggressive adhesive with high initial adhesion is desired. Some application ideas include: folders and boxes; attaching fabric swatches in sample books; and assemble of point-of-purchase displays. JVCC ATG1 ATG Tape Dispenser
 JVCC ATG1 ATG Tape Dispenser is a hand held tape dispenser for ATG tape. It fits 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch rolls of ATG tape. The dispenser/applicator will automatically wind up the liner on your ATG tape during use. All of the ATG tapes we sell will fit in the ATG1 dispenser. JVCC gets this dispenser from Shurtape and it also goes by the model name/number Shurtape SD-950. The dispenser color will either be red or blue depending on the color of the last lot received in from Shurtape. USAGE NOTES: Start by putting the roll of tape on the spool in the middle of the gun with the tape running down clockwise. It then runs on top of the roller closest to it and then under the roller in the front of the gun. The liner by itself (the adhesive gets applied at the point of the front roller) then comes back over the roll which is on the main spool in the middle of the gun and then runs under the liner take-up spool (secure the liner in one of the slits in that spool). Then hold the trigger down when applying the tape (it allows the spools to turn). To stop applying let go of the trigger and pull the dispenser away. |
